Texas company connects with Pittsburgh as it receives August Wilson American Century Cycle Award

HOUSTON, Texas " The Ensemble Theatre, the third largest African-American theater company in the country, threw itself a double party on May 12. It was celebrating the opening of August Wilson's "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom," 30 years after producing it the first time, and the receipt of the August Wilson American Century Cycle Award, honoring it for having completed the playwright's 10-play Cycle.
