Vintage Cleveland theaters: From the 1850s to Playhouse Square by Laura Demarco, The Plain Dealer

The curtain is rising again on the 1927 built Variety Theatre on the west side, closed in the 1980s. Many other classic Cleveland theaters weren't so lucky. Here's a vintage Cleveland theater tour - some gone, some changed, but all worthy of applause.
