In her new weekly show at the Metropolitan Room titled "Shades of Blue," Carole J. Bufford said to the audience, "In order to sing the blues you don't have to come from that period; you just have to be a good woman feeling bad." It's hard to believe the celebrated singer from Lincolnton, Ga. has any reason to feel bad, but her delivery of blues songs or those inspired by the blues leaves you thinking otherwise.
