Sabrina Soriano, an intern in the Paintings Department, has focused her research on Artemisia Gentileschi and the exhibition Artemisia's Strong Women: Rescuing a Masterpiece. Throughout her internship, Soriano has engaged with the show's curators, exploring Gentileschi's distinctive ability to portray female strength with nuance and empathy.
