Prayer for the French Republic, Joshua Harmon's deep-dive of a play about a family caught up in the growing surge of antisemitism in France, has taken on a darker, more urgent tone in its transfer from its Off-Broadway production at Manhattan Theatre Club two years ago to MTC's Broadway house, the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, where it opened tonight.
